 The Costs of War Project at Brown University provides estimates for US-led conflicts in

Iraq, 

Afghanistan, 

Pakistan, 

Syria, and 

Yemen since 2001:

Direct Deaths: Over 940,000 people have died from direct war violence.
Indirect Deaths: If you include deaths caused by displacement, disease, and malnutrition resulting from these wars, the total rises to an estimated 4.5 million.
