TRUE LOVE

 True Love

Maulana Rumi was passing through the market, there was a grocery store in front of Maulana Sahib

A middle-aged woman was standing at the shop and the shopkeeper was looking at this woman in confusion.

The shopkeeper started taking out the thing from that sack with his hand which she was pointing to and put that thing in the bag until the lady's finger moved to another sack and the shopkeeper started blindly taking out something from the other sack and putting it in the bag.

It was a strange scene, the shopkeeper was looking at the customer with a glance and the customer was moving the shopkeeper around the shop with his finger and the shopkeeper was quietly following his orders like the jinn of Ila Deen.

The lady finally took a long breath and ordered the shopkeeper, "Let's just do it, today's shopping is done."

The shopkeeper closed the mouths of the small bags, put these bags in a big sack, put the sack on his shoulder and said to the lady, "Come on, I will leave the goods at your house."

The lady shook her neck and asked, "How much was the calculation?"

The shopkeeper replied, "There is no calculation in love."

The woman looked at him angrily, turned back and walked towards the house.

Maulana Sahib was watching this scene when the shopkeeper left with the woman, then Maulana Sahib sat on the front of the shop and the students stood in the street. The shopkeeper came back after a while, Maulana Sahib called the shopkeeper near and asked "Who was this lady?"

The shopkeeper politely kissed his hands and said, "Sir, this is the maid of such and such a rich family."

Maulana Sahib asked, "Why did you pack him without weighing and then did not even take money from him?"

The shopkeeper said, "Maulana Sahib, I am his lover and when a person is in love with someone, then he cannot be reckoned with."

This talk of the shopkeeper directly touched the heart of Maulana Sahib. He fell dizzy and fainted, the disciples ran and picked up Maulana Sahib, sprinkled rose water on his face, rubbed his palms and feet, Maulana Sahib opened his eyes with great difficulty.

The shopkeeper was nervous, he bowed to Maulana Sahib and politely said, "Sir, if I have made a mistake, I apologize."

Maulana Sahib said "You are my benefactor and my mentor because today you gave me the greatest lesson of love in life."

The shopkeeper asked in surprise, "Sir, how is he?"

Maulana Sahib said, "I know that you are in love with a woman, and you lose count while I count the Tasbih of Allah, I read the Nafl by counting, and I recite the Holy Qur'an by counting the pages, but despite this, I claim love from Allah Almighty. How true are you and how much of a false lover I am."

Maulana got up from there. Returned to his dargah and together with his teacher Hazrat Shams Tabriz wrote forty principles of love. Among these principles was the principle of "unquestioning obedience".

This Maulana Sahib was Maulana Rum, and throughout his life he kept telling his disciples that Allah Almighty did not calculate while giving us blessings, so you also do not calculate while thanking Him.
